About

My deepest desire is to have someone hear my story, and help others share theirs. It has been said, “Everything you want in life is on the other side of fear.” For most people, to reach the level of success one desires, taking that leap of faith is the scariest thing we will do in our lifetime.

I am a product of the Welfare System. Even though I endured an incredible amount of emotional, physical and sexual abuse throughout my childhood, deeply wounded and scarred, I consider myself one of the lucky ones. Raised in a boys’ home, without parents, and without role models, not the ideal blueprint for success in a child. Just like me, some of the youth in those situations have been deprived words of encouragement, are faced with overwhelming challenges and adversities, and yet, like me, they are fighters and survivors. My adversary, a foe, lies deep inside me. I would have brief moments of success, only to be sabotaged and torn down by the still small voice that wreaks havoc on my mental, spiritual, emotional, and physical well-being. I did not have a voice, and no one to hear it.

My mission is to be the voice for the hundreds of children, and those too who are adult survivors of child abuse. To educate, uplift, and inspire those who carry the guilt and shame of the past. You are not alone. Join me on this journey, and together we will learn to not only forgive ourselves but the world around us. Out with the old, in with the truth.
